Arduino Robotics for Absolute Beginners

Want to build your own robot but never written a single line of code? This free, beginner-friendly robotics course takes you from zero to real robots you build on your own desk. We start with your very first Arduino program and finish with a line follower robot on a custom PCB. No coding or electronics experience needed. 🤖

Every episode is one project. Instead of long theory lectures, you learn each idea at the moment you need it, and every video ends with something that blinks, beeps, senses or moves. Each episode also works on its own, so you can jump to whatever you need, but watching in order gives you the full path from blinking an LED to building a complete robot.

🧠 Learning in the age of AI

AI tools like ChatGPT and Claude can write Arduino code in seconds, but they can't see your wiring and they don't always get it right. In this course you'll learn the basics well enough to read the code yourself, use AI to speed things up, and check its answers on real hardware. That's the skill that actually makes you a builder.

• How Arduino code works: setup(), loop(), syntax, variables, if/else, loops and functions

• Installing the Arduino IDE, uploading code and fixing common upload errors

• Breadboards, LEDs, resistors, buttons and potentiometers

• Reading sensors: ultrasonic distance sensors and IR line sensors

• Controlling actuators: servo motors, DC motors and motor drivers

• Powering a robot safely with batteries

• The mechanical side: designing and 3D printing a robot chassis

• Robot logic: obstacle avoidance and line following

• PID control explained simply, so your robot runs fast and smooth

• Designing custom PCBs for a sensor array and robot main board

• Debugging with the Serial Monitor, and using AI as a helper (not a crutch)
